Young And The Restless Spoilers Thursday, October 14: Nick Catches Gaines Sneaking Around – Victoria Wears The Dress Sally Designed

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, October 14 suggest Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will decide not to attend the wedding ceremony.

Also coming up, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will panic when she realizes she’s got the wrong wedding dress. Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will get the cold shoulder and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) wonders where Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) is.

Y&R spoilers tease Sally will encounter Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in the sitting room.  Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will also be there. “Well, this is awkward,” Sally will say. She’ll congratulate Summer on the job and on her wedding. Then everyone will glare at her. “Why don’t we just pretend it’s all water under the bridge so we can be civil to each other,” Sally will suggest.

In the meantime, Billy will walk by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) who will ask him why he’s still there. He’ll tell Billy no one wants him at the ceremony. Billy will say he’s looking for Gaines, who has “mysteriously disappeared.” Then he’ll ask Victor if he’s responsible for that.

In Victoria’s room, she’ll talk to her mother about her love for Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will suggest she get changed. Victoria will unzip the bag containing her wedding dress. “This isn’t my dress,” she’ll tell her mother. “It’s a completely different style.” Nikki will ask what she thinks of it. “I think that it’s breathtaking,” Victoria will reply. Of course, she has no idea it’s been switched with the original. But she’ll soon find out.

After overhearing a panicked Nikki tell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that Victoria’s got the wrong wedding dress, Sally will rush to the bride’s side. She’ll knock on her door and tell Victoria she switched out her dress with one she designed. “Why would you do this?” Victoria will ask. “I wanted to give you a dress that captured your essence,” Sally will tell her. Victoria will then demand that Sally return the original dress.

However, when Victoria appears for the wedding, she’ll be wearing the dress Sally made for her. “Oh my God, her dress is stunning,” Summer will say to Kyle. “I wonder who designed it?” And Adam will tell Sally: “Well done.” Victor will appear by her side and tell her she looks beautiful, as he prepares to walk her down the aisle.

Finally, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be angry with Nick when he tells her he’s not going to the ceremony. “Really, I’m going to your family’s event all alone?” she’ll moan. Later, as the ceremony begins, Gaines will look down on the festivities from an upper window. But Nick will walk in. “Who are you and what the hell are you doing in here?” he’ll ask him.
